In this book males only live up to the age of 25 and women live up to 20 so women get kidnapped and forced into marriages, to keep the population from dying out. 16 year old Rhine gets kidnapped to become a bride and enters a world of wealth and privileges but the only thing she wants to do is escape and reunite with her twin brother.
